Wilmette residents near Ryan Field have 20 remaining dates of special neighborhood parking restrictions through March 2, 2027, beginning Monday, Nov. 2.

The village’s published schedule lists 22 restriction dates overall, covering three Northwestern football games at Ryan Field and 19 men’s basketball events at nearby Welsh-Ryan Arena. Two dates—Oct. 24 and 25—have already passed.

The remaining football dates are Saturday, Nov. 7 against Iowa and Saturday, Nov. 28 against Illinois. Basketball restrictions begin with a Monday, Nov. 2 game against Binghamton and continue through Tuesday, March 2, 2027 against Michigan State, with games scattered across weekdays, Fridays and weekends throughout the winter.

The village's traffic management plan closes the one-block stretch of 5th Street between Isabella and Gregory on game days. The Wilmette Police Department can adjust that plan if safety concerns arise, according to the village. Advisory signs are placed throughout surrounding neighborhoods to help minimize event-related traffic.

The schedule is subject to change. The village said it may be updated for additional events and urged residents to check posted signs near Ryan Field for the most current restriction dates.
